Using scraps
of wood gathered from construction sites, this piece
was put together much as a clay sculptor would
approach a rough piece of clay.
This contemporary
piece is painted with outdoor specific paint, and is
refurbished to withstand the elements every 2 to 3
years.
This was the first sculptural attempt
exploring the use of this type of wood and
discovering how the wood would age and respond to
the outdoor elements of the high desert in Southern California. |
