A piece of
milled lumber was cut by using a hand saw and a hand held circular saw. No
cut is exact. After the cuts were made the pieces were spread with wire and
submerged in hot water, then dried. The piece was then sanded, stained and
mounted.
The thin
copper wires free flow from the tips of the outstretched pointed pieces.
The piece
is designed to be viewed from either side, and gets its name from a favorite
appetizer at the Claim Jumper restaurants. |
